How could a month have already flown by?
Honestly, I don’t know. Even though I am still chugging through the requests, resumes, and instagram posts, this year feels different because of the more direct approach to controlling what I want to do. For example, I have reached out towards other students about posts to be made as well as reaching out to companies looking for internships for next summer. There is so much work to be done and while my blog post is late, I think that this internship keeps it all in check…? It’s strange.
As referenced in Erin Sheckard’s blog post, we are all now preparing for halloween themed posts. My goal is to incorporate film and literature. But, I want to see how each faculty member reacts to their favorite scary film, specific aspects of the story like environment, killer, etc. This weekend, I’ll try to plan to dive more into these ideas and have emails out by early next week.
Until then, I also want to start a word of the day. Cliche I know, but it will keep me in check.
